Vered joined Carbon Smart in 2016 and brings over 8 years of experience in business development and marketing including strategy development, project management, communications, and brand management, working in international markets including China, South Africa, and the US.

Before joining Carbon Smart, Vered worked as a business development manager in BrightSource Energy, a leading solar thermal energy company, including successfully developing and implementing a market penetration plan in China, Middle East entry strategy and project development in South Africa under the Department of Energy’s Renewable Energy Procurement program. Vered also managed the marketing and communications in Israel, and contributed to enhancing brand awareness and the company’s reputation in the region and globally.
