Laura has broad experience of the sustainability field having worked in the sector for more than 13 years. She has a proven track record in the delivery of projects that directly result in improved resource efficiency and reduced operational costs. She managed a £400k invest to save fund for a London local authority and oversaw the implementation of an extensive programme of energy conservation measures.
Alongside this, she also developed a comprehensive energy monitoring system across the operational estate. She is skilled in the development and delivery of sustainable and energy policies and strategies. She has worked extensively with SMEs to provide straightforward and accessible advice on how to reduce resources and save money. Most recently, Laura has worked as a consultant for Pure Leapfrog, the UK’s leading provider of social investment and professional support for community energy and has since developed a keen interest in the sector.
Laura has vast experience of developing engagement programmes which encourage staff participation and ownership of sustainability programmes. As an accomplished communicator, she is skilled at developing relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including internal and external contractors, central and local government, other public bodies and the wider public.
Laura is a Practitioner member of IEMA and has an MSc in Pollution and Environmental Control from the University of Manchester.
