In its seventh year running, the CDP is asking once again publicly listed companies to disclose: comprehensive corporate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions data, emissions reduction targets, use of energy, risks and opportunities in relation to climate change, and management strategies to address climate change – including emissions trading.

Carbon Smart is pleased to announce the expansion of its services to include CSR. Since January 2009 Carbon Smart offers both carbon and CSR related services.

The Corporate Register Reporting Awards (CCRA), took place on the 27th March 2009 at the prestigious Royal Institution of Great Britain.

Carbon Smart is now included in the BPR group ISO14001 certification. ISO 14000 is a series of international standards on environmental management.

Ben Murray, Director at Carbon Smart, was recently interviewed for the BBC1 Politics Show as part of a feature on London’s commitment to move to a low carbon economy.

Carbon Smart will be sponsoring the award for Best Carbon Disclosure at the Corporate Responsibility Reporting Awards (CRRA) event to be held in London at the end of March.

London Community Recycling Network (LCRN) have partnered with Carbon Smart to deliver the Carbon Smart award programme to 44 third-sector, London-based businesses.
